The gaida (pronounced guy-da) is a type of bagpipe traditionally played across northern Greece. It is still heard today at village festivals and celebrations. Our name, Gaida Guild, gestures toward the deep interconnection between music and textile traditions in Greece. Both are communal practices, passed down through generations, and together they convey the rhythm, pattern, and spirit of heritage that inspires our work.

Every design begins with a historic textile or folk pattern, carefully studied and translated into print.
